GLP
The Idaho Food Quality Assurance Laboratory operates in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice standards (40 CFR Part 160).
•GLPs are a formalized set of scientific practices used to ensure the traceability and reproducibility of data.
•GLP compliance is required by EPA/FDA in the development of data used to support registration of agrochemicals and veterinary medical drugs.
•Thorough documentation and standardization of laboratory processes, procedures, and activities are required.
•Formal, third party Quality Assurance audits are a major component of the quality system under GLPs.
•Key practices include the use of: Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Standard Methods, Training, Quality Control, Archival Record Keeping, and Test Chemical Integrity.
